Pro-Bono & Strategic Litigation
Every year, Koltun Law provides pro-bono (free) legal representation for a few cases that have the potential to set new ground-breaking law, challenge a significant incident of government overreach or has a public interest element.
Currently, Koltun Law is seeking to assist individuals who:
Want to challenge the use of Artificial Intelligence, automation and Chinook by IRCC to render government decisions on immigration applications;
Want to challenge the different processing times of spousal sponsorship for discrimination on the basis of Citizenship of the applicant;
Want to challenge the warrantless collection of IP address information of immigration applicants during misrepresentation investigations of immigration applicants;
Want to challenge the incomplete disclosure of Ministerial Briefing Note packages as required under the federal Access to Information Act; or
Are Agricultural Temporary Foreign Workers in the Niagara Region experiencing employer abuse.
If you believe you have a case for one of these scenarios, please contact me at andrew@koltunlaw.ca.
